Istanbul Jazz Festival

The Istanbul Jazz Festival, bringing the best of contemporary music to music lovers, has been held every July since 1994 and is a pivotal event for the city's prominence on the international concert map. In 2020, due to Covid-19 regulations, the 27th of the Festival was held between 2 – 12 September. Within the 27th festival, 125 local artists met with music lovers in more then 21 concerts in 5 different venues. Today, the festival, organized yearly by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) has expanded beyond its jazz roots and reached a more complex structure including exclusive music types.
Bosphorus cruise, historical visits to numerous sites, visit of Prince’s Islands, walking down to Galata via Istiklal Street are only a few of the activities you should experience when in Istanbul for the Istanbul Jazz Festival.
